First, the group’s leader B.I. explained a little bit about their newest title song, “Killing Me,” which released on August 2 at 6 PM, KST. The artist said, “because I belong to the youth community of South Korea, I have heard people saying they are “dying” a lot. Whether it’s school or work, everyone has that one thing that always “kills” them. I got an inspiration from the phrase, and produced this track.”

iKon became the next YG artist to make a comeback, following BIGBANG’s “Flower Road” and BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU.” In fact, this is the second comeback from the group in the same year, which is a rare happening for YG artists. Having to follow the “YG Comeback Train” of 2018, the boy group shared their thoughts on their family groups, BIGBANG and BLACKPINK.

Regarding the absence of BIGBANG members due to military service, B.I. answered a question whether he feels much pressure having to cover for them.

The artist answered, “I don’t feel as much pressure, but I definitely do not wanna mess up the path that our seniors had already polished for us. I’m just trying my best so they won’t be ashamed of us.”

Moreover, iKon also mentioned the success of their junior group, BLACKPINK. The group said, “we think it’s just amazing what our BLACKPINK-nim’s did. Even though we are not very close, they are very pretty and awesome.”

Meanwhile, iKon made a second comeback of 2018 with a mini album “NEW KIDS: CONTINUE,” and they will start their promotions with title song “Killing Me.”
