The entertainment agency of the late SHINee member Jonghyun has created a particular space for fans.
On December 18th Jonghyun, an artist who loved music more than anyone, suddenly passed away due to suicide. Understandably, the news sent shock waves throughout the music industry leaving family, friends, and fans alike confused and saddened.
In a statement released early December 19, SM Entertainment released an announcement for fans. According to the wishes of Jonghyun’s family, the agency has set-up a separate venue for fans to pay their final respects to the singer, mourn, and remember his work and life.
The venue will be open to the public beginning December 19 at 12 p.m. KST at the Asan Medical Center Funeral Hall.
Since Jonghyun’s death, fans have turned to his music for comfort, sending his songs to the top of MelOn music chart.
