On March 16, NU’EST W greeted their fans for ‘Double You In Seoul,’ their first solo concert since debut. The concert is taking place at the Seoul Olympic Park SK Handball Gymnasium until March 18.

On the first night, NU’EST W proceeded their concert with a setlist of 25 songs. It included solo performances and encores, and the concert lasted 2 hours. They started with ‘Where You At,’ a song that brought them the first trophy from music promotions. Ren filled in for Hwang Min-hyun’s part.

NU’EST W leader JR said, “the ‘W’ in the concert name has a meaning of both being with Love (the fandom name) and to continue to double our maturity and growth as a team.” Aaron added, “we thought long and hard about how to decorate our performances, or what songs to sing, so please enjoy.” Finally, Baekho added, “I’ve always imagine a stadium filled with our fans, it’s so good to finally see it come true.”

Each member of NU’EST W performed a solo stage, where the fans finally got a chance to see performances that they didn’t get a chance to see before. Just like Baekho said, each was carried out with a unique style.

JR performed ‘With’ when he almost teared up facing his fans. He said, “it was nerve-wracking to perform my first solo. My hands were shaking as I continued to rap without instrumental accompaniment. This song contains a message to my fans, who have waited so patiently for me and I want to express my gratitude.”

Aaron performed ‘Good Love’ and showed off his masculinity with his dance skills. On the other side, Ren performed ‘Paradise’ and flaunted his sensuality. Ren said, “I hoped that Loves would feel at paradise while watching my performance.”

Lastly, Baekho sang ‘Thankful For You,’ at the very top of the stage. As he looked down, he tried to stop the tears from rolling down his face. He said, “I thought delivering the meaning behind lyrics was the most important. Thus, I lessened the fanciness from the original version of the song.”
