Lee Hong-gi was featured on the celebrity life section of Allure Magazine’s January issue. The singer covered his hair with a fur coat and incorporated different props in his photoshoot.

He also answered questions on starring in the tvN modern spin-off of “Journey to the West” as top star P.K. (based on Zhu Bajie). “Acting as a celebrity when I’m a celebrity myself is actually hard to do. I don’t act as my character does,” he said. “I’ve acted as a celebrity numerous times, and it’s been different every time. My current character goes back and forth a lot, but he’s not unlikable.”

In regards to goals as a musician, he replied, “I always have the same dream: to become a rockstar.” He also revealed his life desire, saying, “My dream is to live freely. I want to live like that. I will also continue to sing for the rest of my life.”

Lee Hong-gi will make his first drama comeback in three years with upcoming drama “A Korean Odyssey”, set to air on Dec. 23. He will be playing the “pig monster” P.K., who goes around seducing women with his looks and top star status. The singer is currently carrying out solo activities in both radio and entertainment, and appears on KBS cool FM “Lee Hong-gi’s Kiss the Radio” as the main host. Fans can also find him on JTBC’s variety show “Night Goblin”.
