Oh Dam-ryol’s impressive debut on Mnet’s program has opened a door to a record label deal.
On April 23, Million Market announced that it has signed an exclusive contract with the young rapper Oh Dam-ryol.
The rapper appeared on the music survival show “High School Rapper 2” from Mnet. While on the show Oh gained attention for his sensuous rapes and overwhelming performances.
Talking briefly about what they sought to sign Oh, Million Market said that he has the capacity and potential to “develop into one of the best new rappers in the country. As such, the label plans to provide “generous support” for his musical growth and will schedule formal interviews with news outlets in May.
In addition to Oh Dam-ryol, Million Market also houses Suran, Penomeco, and Taewoon. Meanwhile, the winner of the program HAON, is in talks to join Jay Park’s label H1GHR MUSIC.
