K-pop girl group Apink’s member Son Na-eun has been brought to the center of the public attention due to the pictures she recently uploaded on Instagram.

On February 13, the artist shared several pictures of herself at New York’s local cafe. In the pictures, she is holding her phone with the design of the phone case showing visibly.

People quickly took notice of the writings on the phone case, which says, “Girls Can Do Anything.” Ironically enough, Son Na-eun only proved that girls can hardly do anything by deleting the photos as people started to criticize her for promoting feminism.

To the dispute, the artist’ agency Plan A Entertainment said, “the case was only a gift the artist was presented at an event held by an American fashion brand.”
