Girl group Red Velvet performed for a crowd of adoring fans during the last day of their second solo concert on August 5. The show, which was held at Jamsil Olympic Stadium, attracted more than 10,000 people over the course of two days. And lucky for these fans, they were the first to hear the girl group’s upcoming song “Power Up” before its official release.

The five members greeted fans after an exhilarating opening with “Russian Roulette,” “Power Up,” and “Cookie Jar,” their Japanese debut single. The group welcomed fans to their “Red Mare” concert and commented on the summer heatwave saying that “it is no joke.”

Regarding their performance of “Power Up,” the group asked fans for their help. Member Joy said that “we will perform the song on August 6, and we must choose a name for the “point dance,” a term used to describe the most memorable dance sequence in the choreography. Next, “we want you to decide,” Joy finished, asking for the fans to come up with an original name.

Meanwhile, Red Velvet’s new album Summer Magic is set to drop on August 6 at 6 pm KST. Further, the album will be available on various music sites including Naver, Melon, iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, and more.
