Actor Park Hyung-sik will make his return to the musical stage with “Elizabeth.”
A representative from Park Hyung-sik’s agency UAA confirmed that the actor had decided on his next acting project. However, it won’t be on the screen but on the stage. According to UAA, Park will star in the musical “Elizabeth.” Notably, this is Park’s first role in a musical since his last performance in 2016.
The musical details the life of Elizabeth, a beautiful queen whose life had more twist and turns than a drama. In particular, the flirtatious relationship she has with “death,” called Der Tod, who has a deadly charm. Reportedly, Park will play the role of Der Tod.
On another note, JYJ Kim Junsu is also considering taking on the role of Der Tod according to earlier reports. However, since he is still serving in the military nothing has been nailed down.
Meanwhile, “Elizabeth” will have its first show on November 17 at the Blue Square Interpark Hall in Yongsan, Seoul.
