Max Changmin from TVXQ made a donation to help children suffering from diseases.

The Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, a leading global child welfare organization, said on May 4 that Changmin donated 55 million won (51,155 USD). Reportedly, the donation was also made to honor Children’s Day; a public holiday celebrated on May 5 this year.

“Before Children’s Day, kids in pain are the ones that come to mind,” Changmin said in a statement regarding the donation. Further, the singer continued saying that he hopes that children with illnesses can enjoy the holiday equally. More, he also hopes that “children will spread their dreams” and grow up smart and healthy.

Meanwhile, Changmin has made numerous donation in the past. In 2017 he made a 70 million won contribution to foundations supporting victims of the Pohang earthquake. Additionally, during his military service, the singer also volunteered to participate in a puppet show for kids.
