On July 5, SM Entertainment announced that Super Junior vocalist Ryeowook would wrap up his time in the army at the 37th Division in Jeungpyeong, North Chungcheong Province on July 10.

It has been two years since the singer enlisted on October 11, 2016. Further, once he started his service, he became the tenth — out of 11 — member to join the military and the tenth to be discharged. Moreover, according to SM Entertainment, the first thing that the Super Junior plans on doing after leaving the army will be a fan meeting.

On July 12, Ryeowook will have a fanmeet at the SMTOWN Theater located at SMTOWN COEX in Seoul at 8 pm. Notably, the name of the fanmeet is “Return of the Little Prince,” which perhaps hints at a possible theme for the meeting.

Meanwhile, since debuting with Super Junior in 2005, the singer has expanded his activities in the entertainment industry. Before enlisting, he was an active radio DJ, sang drama OSTs, took part in musicals and was a part of one of the group’s sub-units.

Welcome back Ryeowook!
