A spycam was discovered in the accommodations provided for Apink member Bomi and actress Shin Se-kyung as they filmed for tVN’s new variety program “Pocha Beyond Borders.”

On September 18, a representative from the production company Olive Entertainment said in an official press release stated that they discovered the camera on the 15th. The cast was in the final days of filming overseas when Shin found the spycam disguised as a portable battery

The cast and production crew confiscated all related equipment and immediately returned to Korea and contacted Police. Currently, authorities are investigating the matter and are questioning those in charge of installing set and filming equipment.

According to an official, the production crew outsourced a private company to set up the equipment. However, out of the people brought in it is believed that one person is responsible for the installation of the spycam.

Olive stated that both the company and the production team are determined to continue with a thorough investigation so that those involved can be punished. This is a sentiment shared by those Shin and Bomi and their agencies.

Shin’s agency Namoo Actors said that they would keep a close eye on the police investigation. Likewise, Plan A Entertainment who manages Apink stated that they “are in the same position as Olive Entertainment.”

So far, police confirmed that there were no leaks of the filmed footage occurred. Shin found the hidden camera soon after the crew member made the installation.

Meanwhile, “Pocha Beyond Boarder,” is a reality entertainment program where Korean street food is shared with locals in different counties. TVN is still set to broadcast the show sometime in November.
