Onew becomes the first SHINee member to enlist in the military!
On November 9, SM Entertainment announced that SHINee’s leader Onew will be enlisting in the military as an active soldier on December 10. Respecting the singer’s wish to enlist quietly, the agency has decided to not reveal the date, time, or the location.
Furthermore, there won’t be an additional event to send off the singer. Born in 1989, Onew is the first member of SHINee to enlist.
Meanwhile, SHINee made their debut in 2008 and recently celebrated their 10th anniversary with their 6th studio album in May. The album contained triple titles, “Good Evening,” “I Want You,” and “Our Page,” which all separately topped various global music charts.
