It is official: IU is going to come back September 22.
According to an agency representative the comeback will consist of a second album remake titles ‘A Flower Bookmark 2’.
‘A Flower Bookmark’ was released in 2014 and is largely regarded as a masterpiece in the music industry. IU was nominated and won a number of awards for the album including MelOn’s Artist of the Year Award. Additionally, The album was also was named no.3 in Billboard’s best albums of 2014. Moreover, the remake of this album is expected to create a sense of nostalgia in the public as IU returns to the sounds of the album with a fresh reinterpretation.
The nostalgic theme continues with art on the album cover. The album art recalls the original album with the same framing and location of the title. However, the bright and direct orientation of IU’s picture on the original album is quite different. In contrast, in the new picture the singer looks somewhere off frame and wears a beige turtle-neck and back captain’s hat.
