F(x) member Luna made her solo comeback with newest single ‘Night Reminiscin’ on April 24.
It’s Luna’s first return as a soloist in almost 2 years, and it is reported that she composed and wrote the tracks in ‘That Kind of Night’ album. The album has total of 4 tracks, including ‘Night Reminiscin’ and ‘Falling Out’ as the title songs. To celebrate her return, Luna hosted ‘!t Live Special : The 3rd MUGI-BOX LUNA’ on Naver V Live.
Luna opened up the broadcast by thanking her fans. She said, “it’s my first solo return in 2 years and I know my fans have waited for a very long time. Today, I’m wearing a purple outfit that represents f(x). I am well-aware that you are all waiting for our return as a group, it will happen soon. Do not worry too much.”
‘Night Reminiscin’ features singer-songwriter Yang Da-Il. Regarding the song, Luna said the idea of the song came from her own diary. She said, “I have a habit of writing a journal. Instead of a song that showed off skills, I wanted to write a song that would incite your sentiments. So I showed my diary to my partner and she composed the perfect melodies.”
Luna also mentioned Yang Da-Il, who featured her in the song ‘Night Reminiscin’. She said, “I thought about my possible duet partner for a very long time. Yang Da-Il did very well beyond my expectations. I think he was able to fill in the sentimental aspects that I lack. I’m very grateful for him.”
Luna also mentioned the other f(x) members. At the end of broadcast, she said, “I’m very glad to be back with my solo album. I’m especially glad that I was able to show you the songs that I wrote and composed myself. Victoria, Crystal, Amber, are you all watching?”
