A former member of Seo Taiji and boys, Lee Juno, was charged with committing fraud and sexual harassment. As the final order of the Supreme Court, he was sentenced to probation of 2 years.

On March 23, the court dismissed Lee Juno’s appeal from last month, and confirmed the decision of the 2nd trial. Lee Juno was sentenced to one year and two months in prison, and suspended for two years. This means that Lee Juno will spend two years on probation, but have to serve one year and two months in prison if he were to violate the conditions of his probation. In addition, the court ordered Lee Juno for 120 public service hours and 40 hours of sexual assault treatment program.

Lee Juno was first accused of fraud when he failed to pay back the loans from his acquaintances. He had borrowed roughly 100 million won (93,000 in USD) and 65 million won (65,000 in USD) in 2013 and 2014. Adding to his charges, he was accused of sexually harassing two women at a club in Itaewon on June 25, 2016.

In the first trial, Lee Juno admitted to all of his charges. However, he asked the court to give him some time to make settlements with the victims. The court accepted his request and postponed the arrest.

In the second trial, the court ordered him a probation sentence instead of imprisonment. This was because Lee Juno had no previous criminal records and the victims did not want Lee Juno to receive penalty.
