DIA has once again delayed their comeback to improve album quality.

On July 5, MBK Entertainment officially announced the delay of DIA’s comeback album. While the group had previously revealed a surprise comeback on July 5 to celebrate their 1000th day of debut, they decided to re-record all tracks to ensure quality.

The agency said, “we have decided to edit and re-record all 7 tracks in the upcoming album, for which we are collaborating with composer Shingsadong Tiger. We made the decision to ensure and improve the quality of the album.”

Furthermore, they said, “we are sorry for the schedule changes. We will make a comeback at the end of this month with a high quality album.”

Meanwhile, the group reunited with Shinsadong Tiger for the first time in 4 years. The two parties worked together for their debut track, “Somehow” in 2015. Besides the collaboration, their comeback also raised much anticipation since the group had about 8-month long break.

DIA first announced their plans for a Summer comeback in March. At the time, they revealed their reunion with Shinsadong Tiger, and that they will make a comeback in May.

However, Eun-Jin decided to leave the group due to health problems on May 7, which halted the group’s comeback for the first time. The company had said, “with Eun-Jin’s departure from the group and Yebin’s UNI.T promotions, we will have to re-discuss the comeback dates.”

Afterwards, the group announced to make a July comeback to celebrate their 1000th day of debut last month only to delay once again, this time to ensure quality.
