On January 7, the Korean Research Institution published the brand reputation ranking of 100 different comedians. The brand reputation index is a weighted indicator of 114,375,363 different data points and analysis of consumer behavior with comedian related content. Content areas included media, communication, community, and social value. Further, consumer traffic to these different content areas for each comedian was also analyzed.

As a result of the analysis, Yoo Jae-suk took the top spot with an index ranking of 9,530,447. His score is over a million more than Park Na-rae and Kim Gu-ra, who had 8,180,316 and 7,868,518 points, respectively.

For Yoo Jae-suk, the result is a 134.88 percent increase from the 4,057,624 points from the last comedian brand ranking in October. Moreover, part of the growth in his popularity is attributed to the continued popularity of “Infinity Challenge,” where he is an MC.
