In response, both parties strongly denied all allegations and expressed their intention to take legal action against false rumors.

Hello, this is Soop Management. We hereby announce our official statement regarding the recent false rumors about our actress, Jung Yu-Mi. At this time, we would like to clarify that the rumors, which are still spreading on online communities, are most definitely false.

All rumors involving me and the other party are false. I plan to ask for a legal responsibility from the person who spread and published the rumors. My personal honor and my family depend on reveling the truth. Therefore, I clearly state that I will not be showing leniency when it comes to the legal actions. At this time, both CJ ENM and several lawyers are gathering the necessary data in order to submit my complaint.
If there’s one thing that upsets me, is why and who would spread such malicious false rumors about me. I watched the news of yesterday, to which I responded by laughing at how ridiculous they were, become “the truth” today. At the end, I felt much sorrow and despair. Once again, I promise to make sure everyone involved in spreading these false rumors will legally pay for their actions.
