Ahn Ji-young of Bolbbalgan4 is focusing on school work after realizing there is a possibility she could be on academic probation.
After releasing ‘First Love’ in Januaray, Ahn Ji-young stopped majority of promotions to focus on school. She is currently attending Sungshin Woman’s University in the modern practical music department.
Ahn Ji-young could not complete her course of study due to a tight schedule since 2016. Because of the continued leave of absence, she risked getting an academic probation.
A representative of Ahn said, “if Ahn keeps missing school, she could be on the academic probation. To avoid this, she wanted to focus on school more. While studying, she is also writing music from time to time.”
During this gap, she has also begun the preparation for her next album. The agency said, “nothing is set in stone regarding the details of the album, but we are considering every possibility for the next album of Bolbbalgan4.”
