BewhY gained the recognition from the public when he won Mnet’s hip hop program “Show Me the Money 5” in 2016.

Ever since then, the rapper released many hit tracks and continued to show off his stage presence at various music festivals and award ceremonies. As a result, he was chosen as the most requested artist to perform at university festivals.

BewhY said, “people may think that our ultimate goal is to simply enter the Billboard chart. However, the program “Kill Bill” isn’t just aiming for Billboard. It is merely one of the steps in the process. There are many people in Korea who are doing the type of music that only we can do. At the end, we want to prove that we can be acknowledged with our music not only domestically, but also internationally.”

He continued, “we are proud of Korean hip-hop. I want to participate in the upcoming program with the music that describes exactly who I am as a person.”

Meanwhile, “Kill Bill” is aiming for a premiere sometime in January 2019. The program will air on MBC Every1, MBC Music, and MBC Drama.
