Yoo Yeon-Seok greeted his listeners, “I’ve always wanted to come onto this show, but I never got the chance. I’m finally here. It’s a radio show that I frequently listen to, and I’m excited to be a part of it this time.”

He continued, “I first gained recognition for my role as a villain in 2012 film “Architecture 101” and then for my image as a hopeless romantic in “Reply 1994” in 2013. Now, everyone has been congratulating me in my latest role in tvN’s “Mr. Sunshine” and I’m just glad that I was able to show different sides of me and that you responded with much love.”

During the show, Yoo Yeon-Seok received a question about his recent role as Goo Dong-Mae of tvN’s “Mr. Sunshine,” for which he received much love from the public. In the drama, despite his outer appearance as a vicious and cold-hearted samurai, Goo Dong-Mae ends up devoting his life to save the person he loves, Go Ae-Shin (Kim Tae-Ri).

The host asked Yoo if he is similar to his “Mr. Sunshine” character when dating in real life, the actor revealed that he is currently postponing on having a relationship. He answered, “I’ve done lots of one-way love when I was young. However, I do try to protect the loved ones, including my family, the best as I can. Personally, I’m not looking for a relationship right now. I’m in love with musicals.”
