Yoo Byung- jae is set to get even more attention in 2019 than he did in 2018.
Comedian and entertainer Yoo Byung-jae won Entertainer Youtuber Award and the Grand Prize at the 2019 First Brand Awards held on the Dec. 19. Notably, for this award program, each recipient of a prize is based on how anticipated that person is in a field according to consumer research.
Since delving into the world of YouTube, Yoo has produced bold and clever content that is easily accessible to fans worldwide. Moreover, in doing so, he has been able to have more creative liberty that he otherwise does not have on television. His content on the streaming website has steadily gained popularity among people in their teens and 20s.
In fact, the number of subscribers to his channel has risen sharply from 200,000 early this year to over half a million now. In response to the prize, a representative from YG Studio Comedy said that “We appreciate your interest and support for Yoo Byeong-jae’s channel.”
Having already made an impression on several entertainment programs, expectations are high with what Yoo will do personally an as a YouTuber in 2019.
