YG Entertainment’s CEO Yang Hyun-suk will start a new variety show with JTBC’s producer Han Dong-chul. Yang will be traveling around the country and visit entertainment agencies.

Yang will visit more than 50 agencies to find new stars and have consulting sessions to help them debut.

The new show will be different from what producer Han has been producing so far. Producer Han has been introducing auditions programs at Mnet including ‘Show Me The Money’, ‘Unpretty Rapstar’, and ‘Produce 101’.

Furthermore, it is a new challenge for YG, as well. Until now, YG has not been tending to communicate with other agencies. However, this time Yang Hyun-suk himself will visit many other agencies including small ones.

CEO Yang reportedly took a long time to make this decision to appear on the show, because not only he is already busy with work at YG, but also it takes a lot of time and effort to visit more than 50 agencies all over the country. This show will actually require Yang to take much more time than when he appeared on SBS ‘Kpop Star’.

However, CEO Yang directly scouted producer Han considering he has proved his skills through many audition programs he produced.

The new show will star airing during the second half of this year on JTBC at 6PM on either Saturdays or Sundays.
