Actress Uee confirmed to appear in a new KBS weekend drama ‘My Beautiful Side’ (literal translation).
On May 8, a source from the drama industry reported “Uee will appear in a new KBS 2TV drama ‘My Beautiful Side’ scheduled to premiere in September.”
In the drama, Uee will play in the role of Kim Do-Ran, a recent graduate who barely graduated with a degree in English education, after repeatedly taking a leave of absence. She is preparing to take the teacher’s certificate examination, while teaching as a part time instructor at a private institute. However, because of her volatile temper and excessive sense of responsibility, she gets fired from the institute.
The drama will tell a story about a woman, who finds out her parents are not her biological parents. Furthermore, she discovers that they are, in fact, murderers. Even though her life seemed broken, she continues to fit together the pieces of her life with the power of love.
Meanwhile, Uee recently appeared in MBC weekend drama ‘Husband Oh Jak-Du,’ which aired their final episode last month. ‘My Beautiful Side’ will premiere in mid-September, after the end of ‘Shall We Live Together’ on KBS 2TV.
