On June 28, Time unveiled their annual list of “The 25 Most Influential People on the Internet,” which evaluates contenders by “looking at their global impact on social media and their overall ability to drive news.”

On the unranked list of global influencers, BTS appears on the top. “About half a decade since their debut as a group, seven-member Korean pop act BTS continues to gain global momentum,” introduces Time.

Along with BTS, Time doesn’t forget to acknowledge their fans’ influence on the Internet.

“The real engine behind their success is their passionate social fanbase, who style themselves as the ARMY and eagerly consume anything related to the group, from tweets to videos,” Raisa Bruner of Time writes, mentioning how the group’s fanbase helped the group breaking several impressive records.

Listed along with BTS are Rihanna, Naomi Watanabe, Donald Trump, Kanye West, and more.
