EXID’s agency Banana Culture Entertainment officially announced that the girl group would have a comeback later this month with all members, including Solji. In the statement, the company said that “leader Solji will return with this album” and asked for everyone’s support. Further, it also asserted that the group’s upcoming album would most clearly convey EXID’s identity.

With this being the first comeback in two years in which Solji plans to participate fully. Two years ago in 2016, the singer was diagnosed with hyperthyroid disease. Consequently, this illness can cause weight loss, fatigue, an irregular heartbeat, and more. As such, she was unable to promote with the group as she focused on her health and getting treatment. However, she continued to be active in her own way. Recently, the singer set a new record on MBC’s “King of Mask Singer” after achieving five consecutive wins.

Meanwhile, EXID debuted in 2012 and gained popularity with their 2014 hit “Up and Down.”
