Song Jun-pyong (22), the son of actor Song Kang-ho (51) and soccer player for the Suwon Samsung Bluewings, posted a bizarre message on Instagram attacking EXO fans.
Song Jun-pyong took to his Instagram account on Monday posting a message that said “Let’s keep EXO fans’ comment terrorism (malicious comments) in moderation.”
There seemed to be no clear reason for the Suwon Samsung Bluewings’ defender’s sudden attack on the boy group’s fans. However, some speculated that it because The Drug King, starring his father Song Kang-ho, was released on the same day as Swing Kids, which stars EXO member Do Kyung-soo (D.O).
Song deleted the bizarre post and issued an apology on Tuesday. In the apology, the soccer player said that he was rash and had not thought through his message. Further, he also sincerely apologized to EXO’s fans.
When his father was asked about his son’s actions during an interview for his movie The Drug King, the actor said that he was misinformed and posted based on wrong information. Continuing, the actor also offered an apology to fans but also extended one to moviegoers as well.
