The Gangnam police station in Seoul announced the results of their investigation of Goo Hara and Choi Jong-beom. In short, police have put forth charges against both parties, however, Choi’s heavily outweigh Goo’s.

Police have charged the ex-boyfriend with one count of causing bodily harm, blackmail, intimidation and coercion, property damage, and violating the Special Act on Sexual Violence. On the other hand, the authorities are sending Goo to the prosecution under the suspicion of causing bodily harm. Notably, the charges put against Choi are the same listed on an October arrest warrant that a judge rejected.

Back on September 13, the two parties were involved in a physical altercation. Choi was the first to report the incident to the police. As the events of the night unfolded, more details emerged as well as accusations and alleged threats involving a sex tape.
