At KBS’ special Music Bank in Hong Kong, MONSTA X exploded on stage with masculine energy that hasn’t been seen since JYP Entertainment’s “beast idol” group 2PM was in their heyday. Part of this was due to their rendition of the group’s hit song “Heartbeat.”

For a while now, fans have called MONSTA X the “next generation beast idols” and the group’s time on stage proved why. Entering in sleek black outfits, the group’s sharp moves and masculine energy set the stage on fire — and a few hearts I’m sure. The performance of 2PM’s song was a “special gift” that the group prepared specifically for the Music Bank World Tour performance in Hong Kong.

It is the 14th International show that KBS has held. Starting in 2011, the network has brought K-pop groups to perform live for fans in France, Indonesia, Turkey, Chile, Mexico, Vietnam, Singapore, and Berlin. Besides the live performance, through KBS World, the network shares entertainment news online as well as over broadcast in 117 countries.

Meanwhile, in addition to MONSTA X, TWICE, Seventeen, N’UEST and a few most artist performed.
