Military clarified that Highlight member Yoon Doo-Joon’s inability to travel overseas has nothing to do with the recent changes in the Military Service Law.

In addition, they said, “the reformed regulations only apply to those between the ages of 25 to 27. Thus, they don’t affect Yoon Doo-Joon, who was born in 1989 and is 29 years old (in Korean age).”
Therefore, Yoon could still technically travel overseas, if he received a permit from the MMA. After the news released, the agency rechecked their facts and released an official statement. Furthermore, they added an apology for the confusion.
