MBLAQ’s Yang Seung-ho to Start Military Service in October

According to multiple broadcasters Yang Seung-ho from MBLAQ will allegedly begin his mandatory military service on October 16.

The singer and actor will be admitted to the Nansan Army Training Center where he will also complete basic training. Thereafter he will serve as active duty military personnel for around 21 months.

Seung-ho debuted with MBLAQ in 2009 with J. Tune Entertainment. MBLAQ made some memorable hit songs including “Oh Yeah”, “Y”, and “Mona Lisa”.

Seung-ho has been acknowledged for his acting abilities among the members of MBLAQ. He starred in the 2012 musical “Gwanghwamun Sonata” in Japan. His performance in the musical opened the door for him to acting more musicals including “Moon Night” and “Singing in the Rain” in 2014. Seung-ho has also been on the big-screen. The boy group member has acted in dramas and was even the main character in “Rock N Roll Grandpa”, which premiered last year.

Additionally, Seung-ho signed an exclusive contract with Will Entertainment that will work to support and him as he furthers his acting career earlier this year.
