Korean-American female superhero Silk will have her own Marvel movie.

The spin-off of “Spider-Man” series, Marvel’s new superhero movie will feature a Korean-American female character Cindy Moon, who is also known by her superhero name Silk. Cindy Moon made her first appearance in the Marvel comics “Amazing Spider-Man Volume 3,” which was released in April 2014.

According to the original comics, Cindy is a student in Peter Parker’s class. Just as Peter, Cindy is also bitten by a radioactive spider, which gives her ability to shoot webs and an eidetic memory.

As much as this movie will be Marvel’s first superhero movie led by an Asian-American superhero, fans are anticipating further details, especially about the actress.

Previously in “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” a Chinese-American actress Tiffany Espensen acted Cindy Moon’s role.
