The first script reading for Lee Jong-Suk and Lee Na-Young’s upcoming romantic comedy has taken place!
On November 13, various actors and director Lee Jong-Hyo got together for the first script reading of tvN’s upcoming romantic comedy “Romance Addendum” featuring Lee Jong-Suk and Lee Na-Young as its lead roles.
“Romance Addendum” tells a story of various people working at a publishing company. With it, Lee Na-Young will be making her first return to the small screen in 9 years, and Lee Jong-Suk challenges himself in his first-ever romantic comedy since debut.
In the drama, Lee Na-Young has taken on the role of Kang Dan-Ee. She once used to be a flourishing copywriter, but has lost her touch in the field. Because of discontinued job, she is in desperate need of job and money. Because she is overqualified for the positions she applies, Kang ends up lying about her educations and background. Ultimately, she gets hired Cha Eun-Ho (Lee Jong-Suk)’s publishing company and starts her new beginning.
On the other hand, Lee Jong-Suk will take on the role of Cha Eun-Ho, a genius writer who is also the youngest publisher at the company to become the editor in chief.
At the end of the script reading, director Lee Jung-Hyo said, “our goal is to have fun and finish our work. I want us to become a team that is sad to say goodbye at the end, but still be able to smile at one another.”
Writer Jung Hyun-Jung added, “I’m glad to be able to work with such a great group of people. Until the end of the drama, I hope we can all work with smile on our faces.”
Finally, the production team said, “this script reading helped us to realize why it had to be Lee Na-Young and Lee Jong-Suk. The synergy between the two actors with definite colors gave us all thrilling joy. There was not a single boring moment thanks to everyone who knew how to give life to their characters. Meanwhile, “Romance Addendum” will air sometime in early 2009.
