Kyung Soo-Jin from “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo” joins YG Family and announces her next drama!

On November 5, YG Entertainment announced that actress Kyung Soo-Jin has signed an exclusive contract with the agency. The company furthered their comment, “we wish that Kyung Soo-Jin’s stable acting skills and her unique charms will receive more spotlight by working with us. With much delight, we plan to provide our fullest support with all of her future activities.”

Following the announcement, YG also confirmed the actress’ upcoming drama. According to the reports, Kyung will be joining actor Ryu Seung-Soo in tvN’s 10-part short drama series, also known as the “Drama Stage” project.

The drama will tell a story about a guest house owner who lives simply because he can’t die and a guest who would like to die. One day, a mysterious woman (Kyung Soo-Jin) pays a visit and the three end up living under the same roof.

Meanwhile, Kyung Soo-Jin debuted through a television series “New Tales of Gisaeng” in 2011. Afterwards, the actress received the recognition from the public for portraying the younger version of Son Ye-Jin in 2013 drama “Shark.”

Moreover, the actress received the Best Rookie Award at the KBS Drama Awards for her appearance in “TV Novel: Eunhui,” leading to a role in MBC’s hit drama “Weightlifting fairy Kim Bok-Joo” in 2016.
