Model Kang Seung-Hyun has officially left YG KPLUS!
On November 9, it was announced that model Kang Seung-Hyun has left YG KPLUS. The model has signed with a new agency to officially begin her career as an actress.
Her new agency reported, “ever since her debut, Kang Seung-Hyun did not discriminate against stages, whether it be a fashion show, a TV program, or a commercial. At last, she now stands as one of Korea’s top models and became a muse in the fashion industry.”
The agency continued, “now, she is ready to show her unique charms in other industries, such as drama and film. We will provide our fullest support in every way possible as Kang Seung-Hyun continues her promotions not only in the fashion and acting, but in other fields as well.”
Meanwhile, Kang Seung-Hyun officially debuted as a professional model when she opened for fall 3.1 Phillip Lim in New York City in 2008. Afterwards, she was acknowledged for her talent as she became the exclusive model for various global brands, such as Mark by Jacobs, Phillip Lim, DKNY, and Vogue.
Moreover, the model had her official screen debut through film “Believer” in 2018. With her unique chic-looking appearance, Kang captivated the hearts of many.
A source from her new agency said, “currently, Kang Seung-Hyun is reviewing the offers to choose her next work. She continues to work on her acting in order to show a new side of her to the audience.”
