On the morning of February 4, JYP Entertainment releases a trailer for GOT7‘s next world tour on Twitter. The dramatic and intense video listed the locations for the tour including seven cities in Asia, along with stops in North America, South America, and Europe. More, the video detailed tour date information by location; convenient and expected details for an announcement like this. However, it appears that the entertainment company did not intend to release the dates.

An hour later the Tweet was made, it was deleted and another video was uploaded, this time without the dates, only indicating that the tour would begin in May. Incidentally, this version of the trailer also shown at the group’s anniversary fan meeting, which concluded last night in Seoul.

Unfortunately for the company, the deletion did not happen quick enough. Many fans had already taken the opportunity to note the dates down and share the information through different social media networks. However, with the company foregoing releasing the dates of the tour at this time, it may be unwise to consider the dates presented in the first video as fact. Notwithstanding, many fans are expressing gratitude since it provides a general frame of reference for them.

Is GOT7 visiting an area near you during the world tour?
