JTBC is remaking a popular Japanese drama series “Legal High”

On October 18, a source at JTBC reported, “we are remaking the Japanese drama series “Legal High” aiming for a premiere beginning of next year. It will air following the end of ‘SKY Castle.'”

“Legal High” first aired in 2012 on a Japanese channel Fuji TV. It is a comedy drama with background set in a courtroom, featuring a passionate lawyer named Komikado Kensuke, who is willing to do everything he can to win cases. It also features another character named Mayuzumi Machiko, a hard-working rookie lawyer with a strong sense of justice.

Meanwhile, writer Park Sung-Jin of KBS’ “Detectives in Trouble” have confirmed to write the script, collaborating with director Kim Jung-Hyun of MBC’s “Gu Family Book.”
