Gugudan’s new unit featuring Sejeong, Mina, and Nayoung confirmed their album release date!
On June 29, a representative of Gugudan from Jellyfish Entertainment reported, “a new unit from Gugudan is releasing a single album on July 10th. The unit will include Sejeong, Mina, and Nayoung.”
Furthermore, the agency also released a teaser video regarding the unit’s debut through its official SNS accounts. In the video, you can find a text that says “coming soon” with Sejeong, Mina, and Nayoung’s names. However, they have yet to reveal details on the contents or the album.
On top of the video, they also shared the unit members’ “Past and Present” photos, which included pictures of the members from their childhood and now. Check them out below!
Meanwhile, all 3 members of the upcoming unit participated in Mnet’s “Produce 101” in 2016. They managed to receive and keep their “A” grade at the first group and self evaluations. Afterwards, all 3 of them made it to the final round, with Sejeong and Mina debuting as members of I.O.I.
Following the first unit of Gugudan with maknae line Mina and Hyeyeon, the girl group embarks on another journey as a different unit group. Much anticipation and curiosity arise as what kind of contents this album will hold.
