North Korea’s musical ensemble Samjiyon Orchestra had its second performance in South Korea on February 11. On this night, K-pop girl group Girl’s Generation member Seohyun presented audiences a pleasant surprise by making an appearance on the stage.
The pop orchestra from North Korea, which consists of 137 vocalists and musicians, kicked off the night with the North Korean pop song “Glad to Meet You,” popularly known in both sides the peninsular.
In the middle of the performance, K-pop artist Seohyun made a surprise appearance on the stage. The artist performed “Our Wish Is Unification” with the ensemble, singing hopeful message for the reunification.
