Lizzy changes her stage name to Park Soo-Ah and officially begins her career as an actress!

On July 3, Celltrion Entertainment reported that Park Soo-Ah (formally known as Lizzy from After School) confirmed to join the cast of upcoming web drama “I Picked Up a Celebrity on the street” (literal translation).

Park Soo-Ah will take on the role of Jin Se-Ra, an actress in the same agency as male lead character. In the drama, the actress gets involved in a mysterious incident with Kang Jun-Hyuk, but continues to show off her lovely charms as they try to escape the situation. Furthermore, with her unique bubbly characteristic, Jin Se-Ra will create the comical atmosphere this drama intends to deliver.

Celltrion said, “the healthy and active image that Park Soo-Ah has in real life matched the character 100%. Thus, the production team had unanimously decided to cast her. Park Soo-Ah plans to transfer her real life characteristic into the character in drama. We hope you look forward to it.”

Park Soo-Ah acted in many dramas while promoting as a member of After School. She started with sitcom “All My Love For You” in 2011, and continued with 2012 “Rascal Sons” and “Angry Mom” in 2015. Throughout the works, the actress proved herself as one of the rare multi-entertainers in the industry.

Meanwhile, “I Picked Up a Celebrity on the Street” will tell a story about a woman, who accidentally “picks up” a global star on the street. Previously, Sung Hoon confirmed to take on the role of Kang Jun-Hyuk, the celebrity who ends up a hostage at a mysterious house. The drama will become availble through a video streaming platform Oksusu in September.
