Famous Korean producer DRESS worked with YG’s Teddy and has featured on two Mnet hip-hop programs.

On July 5, Starship X released a statement saying that they “recently signed an exclusive contract with DRESS, a star producer who does outstanding work with other well-known Korean artists.”

Starship X is a subsidiary of Starship Entertainment, the home of boy groups MONSTA X, Boyfriend, Soyou (former SISTAR member), rapper Mad Clown, and many more. According to reports, the star producer will be expanding to create his own music as well. Reportedly, DRESS is preparing for active music activities with a single that comes out on July 11.

While some may not have heard of DRESS, they most certainly have listened to some of his work. Before signing with Starship X, he was a producer under The Black Label, which was established by Teddy from YG Entertainment. Moreover, he was apart of the “YG Team” on “Show Me the Money 5” where he worked with Zion.T, C Jamm, and Kush. Further, on Mnet’s “Highschool Rapper” he was NCT Mark’s primary producer.

Additionally, after working on Lydia Baek’s “Emotion,” he finally secured recognition as both a producer and artist. Through the entirety of his career, he earned the love and respect of famous artist because of his unique and attractive beats and music.
