EXO’s Chanyeol and Sehun join forces for the upcoming SM “STATION X 0” track!
On September 11, SM Entertainment announced that EXO’s Chanyeol and Sehun will be featured as the third artist group of “STATION X 0” project. On September 14, the duo will release “We Young” in two different versions – one in Korean and one in Chinese.
According to the agency, “We Young” is a hip hop track that contains a playful piano riff throughout the song. Rapper PENOMECO has written the lyrics, a message dedicated to the youth community to love themselves as they are, and to go after something that they truly desire.
In addition, they have released various teaser images that showcase the masculinity of both Chanyeol and Sehun, thus increasing much anticipation from both fans and the public.
Meanwhile, “STATION X 0” is a spin-off project of SM Station. SM Entertainment’s channel that releases digital tracks has collaborated with a culture brand ‘0’ to create a cultural project dedicated to people in the younger generations. Through this project, they plan on releasing various tracks that showcase collaborations of SM, as well as other label’s artists.
After launching “SM STATION” in 2016, the program released a total of 104 single tracks within two years. Throughout the seasons, they showcased unique collaborations between various artists, producers, and composers.
Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon collaborated with duo MeloMance as the first artists of the project. They were followed by rapper Loco and EXO’s Baekhyun, who released “Young” on August 31. Finally, EXO’s Chanyeol and Sehun decide to join in this meaningful campaign to give encouragement to the youth community.
