Banana Culture has announced ahead of EXID’s comeback that Solji will not participate in live performances.
The entertainment agency said on November 1, “EXID’s leader and main vocal Sol-ji has participated in the making of the group’s fourth mini album Full Moon. The album will be released on November 7… but she will be absent from broadcast activities.”
Last year Solji was diagnosed with a hyper-thyroid disorder. As such, she has not fully participating in group activities due to the diagnosis. However, according to the agency she had a strong desire and intention to participate in making Full Moon. Moreover, the agency said that, “Solji has improved a lot, but we were worried about physical limitations and possible health deterioration once she resumed activities.”
However, because Solji will not be participating in broadcast activities she plans to meet fans digitally. Solji intends to have an interactive live weekly broadcast via the V-APP for fans. The broadcast will be from November 3 to the end of EXID’s album activities.
