On October 14, BTS performed at the “Resonance of Korean Musicians,” a Korea-France friendship concert held in Paris, France.

About 400 French and Korean officials attended the concert, including both South Korean President Moon Jae-In and the First Lady Kim Jung-Sook. Following the end of the concert, President Moon shook hands with the performers, and exchanged a hug with V.

In the interview with foreign press, President Moon briefly showed his pride for K-Pop. The president said, “K-Pop contains the enthusiasm and excitement of Korea. However, more than that, it also encourages everyone around the world to challenge themselves in pursing their dreams.”

After their performance, BTS said, “it was an honor to participate in such a meaningful event with officials from both countries in attendance. We are currently in midst of our world tour in Europe, and we will be holding our Paris concert in a few days. Please show us a lot of support for that. Lastly, we hope that through this and other cultural exchange events, many genres and musicians of Korean music will be introduced to the world.”
