On August 29, the cast for the upcoming historical drama “Iron Mask” assembled for a practice session at the BBCH Hall Practice room at the Kwanglim Art Center in Gangnam, Seoul. Many familiar and famous faces were apart of the musical’s cast including VIXX Ken, Sandel from B1A4, Infinite Jang Dong-woo, and BtoB singer Lee Chang-sub all arrived to practice their lines.

On the same day, Lee Chang-sub drew a similarity between himself and BtoB’s leader Seo Eun-kwang who recently joined the military. “Our leader joined the military after [doing] a musical (Barnum: The Great Showman). I also think there’s only a short time left [before I enlist],” he commented.

Although the possibility of joining the army may create a lot of pressure for some, Lee is using it as motivation. “I’m working hard because I [think] this musical might be my last project before I go to the military,” the singer said. “I want to remember it (the play) as good and something in which I performed well,” Lee revealed.

Meanwhile, the musical “Iron Mask,” is based on the story the “Man in the Iron Mask” and is set in Paris, France in the 17th century. Tickets go on sale in early September.
