On April 2 broadcast of tvN’s ‘Talkmon,’ AKMU Lee Su-hyun shared her debut story. In addition, she talked about her brother Chan-hyuk, who recently enlisted in the military.

Lee Su-hyun mentioned her brother, Chan-hyuk, and said “I thought I would be very alone once Chan-hyuk had gone to serve his military duties. I even brought tissues with me when I visited him, but I didn’t cry as much as I thought I would.”

Furthermore, Su-hyun shared what motivated her to become a beauty YouTuber. She said, “before I signed a contract with my agency, I heard they make you get plastic surgery. Thus, as I was signing the contract, I specifically told them my brother and I did not want to get plastic surgery. However, they laughed and said they didn’t want it, either. Afterwards, I thought of a way to become prettier without having a surgery and my solution was self-surgery.”

She added, “woman can change in so many different ways with diet and make-up. I’ve been learning and improving my make-up skills by copying my make-up artist. At the end, I wanted to have my own channel where I teach others about make-up.”

Su-hyun and Chan-hyuk were born in Mongolia. Su-hyun said, “our parents are missionaries. We were home-schooled in Mongolia, until one day, my parents told us to do whatever we wanted to. Maybe they thought we weren’t very scholarly. Ever since then, Chan-hyuk learned how to play guitar and I learned piano.”

She continued, “I was watching ‘Star King’ and this girl named Shannon appeared in the show. Her voice was so beautiful that I wanted to do the same. We came to Korea because of a visa problem when Chan-hyuk and I participated in the audition and ended up staying here.”

Finally, Su-hyun shared a story about ‘200%’ music video. She said, “I’m a fan of Lee Hyun-woo and the agency contacted him for us. I couldn’t even meet eyes with him while filming. Now, I want to shoot a music video with Park Seo-joon.”
