Actor Park Seo-joon went for a fresh, teenage look in his photoshoot and interview for ‘High Cut’ magazine.

He wore a casual white shirt with jeans and sneakers—a classic boyfriend look that exuded a friendly, yet charming vibe.

After the photoshoot, the actor talked about filming action scenes in his recent drama ‘Fight For My Way’, and upcoming film ‘Midnight Runners’. “Although the action is quite different, I think ‘Hwarang’ gave me some confidence. I learned how to act so that it looks like I’m actually getting hit,” he said. “To be honest, in ‘Fight For My Way’, there were more scenes where I had to expose my upper body than there were action scenes, which made me felt a lot of pressure. I kept losing muscle. For ‘Midnight Runners’, we had to choose among three kinds of martial arts to perform. Kang Ha-neul chose kumdo while I chose yudo. Since I chose yudo, there was a lot of grabbing and throwing action involved.”

The actor also shared his thoughts on the Dong-man + Ae-ra couple and Joo-man + Seol-hee couple in ‘Fight For My Way’. “I think that Dong-man (Park Seo-joon) and Ae-ra (Kim Ji-won) have their own male friend and female friend fantasies. Joo-man (Ahn Jae-hong) and Seol-hee (Song Ha-yoon) fight over realistic problems and talk more realistically. I think there was a good balance achieved by having two different couples; it made it more enjoyable to watch. I didn’t have a lot of scenes with Joo-man or Seol-hee. I only saw them on TV. Whenever I saw Jae-hong hyung on set, I would tell him, ‘Hyung, I’ll see you on TV.’”

When asked if he could see himself falling for a close female friend like his character Dong-man did, the actor responded with, “I don’t have a lot of female friends. But then again, you never know with people. I’m open to the possibility.”
