Valentine’s Day is still weeks away, but that hasn’t stopped Lee Dong-wook from getting in the mood for love in a new pictorial in the February issue of Cosmopolitan.

Actor Lee Dong-wook takes over the February issue of fashion and beauty magazine Cosmopolitan ahead of Valentine’s Day. Contrary to the cool and chic image that the actor usually has in movies and dramas, Lee reveals a friendly and loving side that he doesn’t show often.

In the pictorial, Lee is completely transformed into a romantic boyfriend who is preparing for a date; holding a bouquet of flowers while staring at the camera with sweet eyes being one example. In other pictures, he strikes a playful pose or simply plays up his romantic styling.

Interviewed after the photos were taken, the actor chatted a bit about his new show. “We’re in the middle of filming for the drama ‘Touch Your Heart‘,” referring to an upcoming romantic drama featuring himself and Yoo In-na. In the drama, Lee is set to play an attorney who takes Yoo In-na as his assistance against his will as she prepares for an acting role as a lawyer. “It is a romance drama where you will get to know true love,” Lee said.

When asked about the difference between his twenties and thirties, the actor said that he approaches his time off differently. Before he worried about what he could be doing careerwise even when he wasn’t working on a project. Now, he likse to use that time to relax and unplug.

“I think the way I deal with time off has changed a lot. When I was in my twenties, I was obsessed with what I had to do even when I wasn’t filming, but now I want to enjoy my time alone.”

Meanwhile, tVN new drama “Touch Your Heart” starting on Feb. 6 at 9:30 p.m.
