Actress Yoon Eun-Hye apologizes once again for the fashion design plagiarism controversy from 3 years ago.

On October 31, Yoon Eun-Hye attended the production presentation for MBN’s upcoming drama “Love Alert” alongside Chun Jung-Myung and other co-stars. During the event, the actress took the liberty to apologize for the past controversy, when she was accused of plagiarizing designer Yoon Choon-Ho’s designs for her own good.

In 2015, the actress participated in “Goddess’ Fashion,” a Chinese fashion design survival program. Following the episode that showcased fashion designs that were reportedly designed by Yoon Eun-Hye herself, she was called out by Korean designer Yoon Choon-Ho for stealing his original designs.

Designer Yoon Choon-Ho even posted the comparison photo of his design and the actress’, expressing his deepest regret and offense. At the time, the actress only strongly denied such an act, but ended up admitting and apologizing three months later.

Yoon Eun-Hye commented, “three years ago, I had a chance to make my public apology. However, I realize it wasn’t enough. This time, I would like to once again express my sincere apology for stirring such an unfortunate event.”

She continued, “since this is my first return in a while, especially after such a tragic event, I worried that I would be a bothersome to others around me. The worries made me to work harder. I tried to enjoy working with others as best as I could. I’m thankful that many of these people helped me to get through my worries.”

Once again, Yoon has chosen a romantic comedy.

She explained, “if I were to reenact a character from dramas I appeared in the past, it’s going to be different now than how I played it out initially. I think the way I express my emotions are going to be different since I’ve matured and I’ve come to fear things. In the past, I had this obsession to be funny. But now, I just want to act natural.”

At last, Yoon Eun-Hye explained why she chose “Love Alert” as her returning drama. She said, “I was looking over other dramas, and the words “love alarm” just filled my stomach with butterflies. That’s why I chose this piece. I lack so many things and I always wondered what I can do best, and what I can do for my fans. When this opportunity to work together with such great people presented itself, I had to grab it.”

She concluded, “I thought it was time I sent my greetings through a drama. I was worried about memorizing my lines or just working on a drama in general. I couldn’t even sleep at night. But my worries were useless, I’m having so much everyday filming for this drama.”
