Yoo Jae-Suk denies the fact that his newborn daughter looks more like him than she does his wife!

On November 1 broadcast of KBS’ “Happy Together 4,” Nam Woo-Hyun, who appeared as the episode’s special MC mentioned Yoo Jae-Suk’s newborn baby girl. Nam mentioned the 2018 Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards that recently took place, where Yoo Jae-Suk took the liberty to express his affection towards his wife during his winning speech.

At the time, Yoo had said, “I’m thankful that my second child came into our family in a very healthy state. I hereby express my gratitude towards everyone who congratulated me as if I were their family member. Earlier this morning, I came home after working late. My baby started crying, but I was so tired I pretended like I didn’t hear it. I regret that very much. I promise not to do that ever again. Honey, thank you, and I love you.”

Yoo Jae-Suk explained what caused him to bring it up during the speech at a public event.

Yoo said, “after pretending like I didn’t hear the baby cry so I didn’t have to take care of her, I felt regretful all day long. The truth was that I had filmed for two different programs consecutively that day, and was just too tired. But that doesn’t give me an excuse. After I did that, I felt so bad that I had to bring it up in front of the public to make a promise I could never break.”

Nam Woo-Hyun further commented, “apparently, daughters live well if they look more like their father than their mother.” In response, Yoo Jae-Suk said, “people around me tell me that she looks more like me. But I’m not too sure. My wife says she looks more like me. But I’m denying the truth. I say we keep an eye on her. I comfort my family by saying that we should wait and see.”

Meanwhile, Yoo Jae-Suk and Na Kyung-Eun welcomed their second child into the family on October 19. The couple got married in 2008, welcoming their first son into the family two years later in 2010. By welcoming their second child into the family 8 years later, they have now become parents of two children.
